Independent audit validates security and trust standards for Inception Cyber’s Neural Analysis and Correlation Engine (NACE)

Palo Alto, CA—April 9, 2025—Inception Cyber, the inventors of Intent-Based AI Threat Prevention, today announced that it has successfully completed its SOC 2 Type I certification. The audit, performed by Sensiba LLP, affirms that Inception Cyber’s security controls meet the Trust Services Criteria set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) for security, availability, and confidentiality.

The SOC 2 information security audit provides a report on the examination of controls relevant to the trust services criteria categories covering security. A SOC 2 Type I report describes a service organization's systems and whether the design of specified controls meets the relevant trust services categories at a point in time. Inception Cyber, Inc.'s SOC 2 Type I report did not have any noted exceptions and was therefore issued a “clean” audit opinion from Sensiba.

“Achieving SOC 2 Type I certification marks a critical milestone in our journey to build secure, scalable AI systems for enterprise threat detection,” said Bill Mann, CEO and Co-founder at Inception Cyber. “As we help organizations detect and prevent increasingly evasive phishing, ransomware, and identity-based attacks, it’s essential that our own systems meet the highest security standards. This certification provides added assurance to our customers, partners, and stakeholders.”

Inception Cyber’s Neural Analysis and Correlation Engine (NACE™) uses generative and predictive AI to analyze the semantics, tone, sentiment, and structure of a message—understanding the intent even when traditional indicators are hidden, obfuscated, or AI-generated.  Rather than relying on links, attachments, or user behavior, NACETM takes a fundamentally different approach: understanding the purpose and meaning behind an email i.e. intent and using that insight as the basis for decision making.

The SOC 2 Type I certification is the first step in Inception Cyber’s broader compliance roadmap, which includes a Type II audit and additional certifications that support enterprise and MSSP deployments.

About SOC 2 Type I

SOC 2 is a widely recognized auditing standard developed by the AICPA to evaluate an organization’s controls over information security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. A Type I report assesses the design and implementation of these controls at a point in time, providing assurance around the foundational security practices in place.
