Press ReleasesInception Cyber Recognized as Emerging Specialist in 2025 Gartner Emerging Market Quadrant for Generative AI Engineering
PALO ALTO, Calif. — June 17, 2025 — Inception Cyber, the inventors of Intent-Based Threat Prevention, today announced it has been recognized as an Emerging Specialist in the 2025 Gartner® Innovation Guide for Generative AI Technologies as part of the Emerging Market Quadrant for Generative AI Engineering.
The Gartner Emerging Market Quadrant (EMQ) is designed to highlight emerging vendors driving innovation in high-growth, high-impact areas. Inception Cyber was named in the “Emerging Specialists” quadrant of the Generative AI Engineering submarket for its pioneering work applying AI to detect intent and use it as a feature set to detect malicious attachment URLs and BEC in digital communications.
Gartner defines the Generative AI Engineering submarket as:
“Technologies providing full-model life cycle management, specifically adjusted to and catering for developing, refining and deploying generative models (e.g., large language models [LLMs]) and other GenAI artifacts in production applications. This submarket includes platforms for AI orchestration (e.g., model chaining, agent development and RAG architecture accelerators).”
Inception Cyber’s NACE™ Platform: Intent Detection at the Core
At the heart of Inception Cyber’s innovation is patent pending NACE™ (Neural Analysis and Correlation Engine) — a generative AI-native platform built to analyze and detect the intent behind digital communications, initially email. Unlike legacy solutions that rely on features from exploitation stage or user behavioral analytics, NACE™ uses generative and predictive AI to analyze semantics, tone, and sentiment—understanding the purpose and meaning (i.e. intent) behind every email, whether an attack is human-crafted or AI-generated. Intent along with the auxiliary feature is used to derive verdict of Phishing, Malware, BEC.
NACE Platform APIs: Enabling Intent-Aware Security for Everyone
Inception Cyber is now offering NACETM as an API-first service, enabling third-party platforms and developers to integrate intent-aware threat detection into their own applications and workflows.
First Use Case: Email Threat Analysis
The first use case for NACETM focuses on email security. Given an email, NACETM returns:
- A high-confidence classification: Clean, Phishing, BEC, Ransomware, etc.
- A structured response detailing why the content was flagged — including threat type, tactics observed, and risk level.
- Explanations in natural language to assist SOC teams, developers, or compliance systems.
About Inception Cyber
Inception Cyber, the inventors of intent-based security, is leading the next generation of threat prevention for an increasingly AI-driven world. The company's patent-pending Neural Analysis and Correlation Engine (NACE™) identifies and stops evolving AI or threat actor-generated ransomware, spear-phishing, and business email compromise attacks that bypass existing security measures and target employees.
